About

After graduating from Design for Film and Television at Nottingham Trent University in 2021, Meg has been working on a range of television productions, from comedies to high-end drama. Starting off as an Art Department Assistant, she has worked as a Drafting Assistant on Daniel Day-Lewis' newest film 'Anemone', and more recently stepped up to Assistant Art Director. Now based in the North-West of England, she has worked in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, and Leeds.

Each one of her experiences have presented her with new challenges and problems to solve! With three years of working in the Art Department she has learned how to effectively conduct script breakdowns, intentions, doing research, petty cash buying, construction drawings for location coverups and builds, and overseeing location set construction. In addition, she has also built up a full kit.

From studying Design for Film and Television at Nottingham Trent University and achieving a First Class Honours, Meg gained a wide selection of industry skills. She has developed skills in hand draughting and digital draughting, concept visualisation, model making, graphic design, storyboarding, and prop making, which have only continued to grow. In her final year of study, Meg was presented with the 'Best Professional Practice' award, for her commitment to producing her work and the additional effort she put into creating their final Degree Show.

Outside of work, Meg is a keen acrylic painter, specialising in animal portraits. She is also on the committee of Liverpool Otters Touch Rugby Club as Communications, Design, and Merchandise Officer, responsible for new kit designs, graphics, filming, and creating all content for the social media accounts. She is also Captain of their competitive team.

Meg is keen to get involved with any future challenge, so please get in contact with her for a chat!
